Donna Phelps, an accomplished faux and decorative artist, is the owner and principle instructor of Sarasota School of Faux & Architectural Finishing, a licensed Faux Effects Training Center. She has trained extensively in old world techniques utilizing state of the art "new world" products.  She continues to study new products and techniques as they are developed, helping to keep her teaching style fresh and her techniques cutting edge.
Donna has traveled to teach numerous workshops at the SALI (IDAL) Annual Convention (1999-2008), The Faux Event (2005-2006), and has been an invited guest instructor at prestigious painting institutions such as ArtiMatrix in Wichita, Kansas, The Finishing School in Floral Park, New York, Surfaces in Kansas City, Kansas, Prismatic Painting Studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, Anything But Plain Studio in Houston, Texas and Faux Effects Studio in Vero Beach, Florida.
