demonstrate her signature

Design Trends Workshops:
Glam Nouveau, Modern Safari, Contempo
Tropics
Each year Donna creates a new design
collection of faux and architectural
finishes that perfectly fit the market
trends! These collections have
become the cornerstone of her Signature
Class Series and include her favorite
"design and style" finishes. Some of her
past collections include The Cosmo
Collection, The Ornamental Collection,
and The World Tour Collection.
In the World Tour Collection, Donna
combined elegance and sophistication
with progressive design concepts which
became the cornerstone of that
collections designs. The collection
premiered at the 2007 Meeting of the
Masters to many excited compliments from
the attending faux finishers from around
the world.
This years collection actually
developed into three mini collections
of three distinct design trends: Glam
Nouveau, Modern Safari, and Contempo
Tropics!

suitable for both new and previously
finished cabinetry and even furniture
and elegant trim finishes that will
satisfy even the most discriminating
builders, designers, and clients? This
workshop will teach you creative and
profitable finishes designed to
transcend the typical stained or painted
finish. Working on actual sample cabinet
doors and drawer facings and with an
extraordinary group of finishing
products from Faux Effects, you will
learn how to build custom, hand-rendered
finishes with depth, beauty, and a
quality hand that will encourage the
viewer to reach out and touch!
Workshop topics and techniques include
**Multi-layered painted and wood-toned
finishes that are suitable over raw
wood, pre-existing finishes and painted
base coats
**Chipped and worn paint effects
**Elegant crackle finishes
**Aging and distressing methods
**Classic glazing techniques
**Working with different types of
colorants
**How and when to apply details such as
